    Art Show Opening for Angelika Domsche

    So excited to be a part of this opening!  Join us in this historic home in old town Norcross, Ga.  FREE opening night for the works of local artist and scientist, Angelika Domschke.  You will love her work and her.  Come meet the artist and fall in love!
     
    Explore Innocence with Angelika. 
     
    Artist and Scientist, Angelika Domschke, will present a show of her sculptures, artworks and illustrated books in September 22 - October 27. The theme “Explore Innocence” highlights her fantasy character art – mermaids, angels, elves and animals both in paintings and carvings shown in an ethereal light.
     
    The artist and scientist has authored and illustrated a children’s book helping to educate in more elementary terms Sickle Cell Anemia which is an often hidden and unrecognized disease. Angelika is presently in the process of working with Emory University to develop an interactive version for their Children’s Hospital.
     
    She also authored and illustrated a multi-media children’s book encouraging children's health and educating about germs and the immune system.  The book features enchanting songs by Pickxen and a video. It will be available for purchase at the event.
    Proceeds from the sale of books and Angelika’s artworks will go toward the Sickle Cell Anemia Fund.
    Pickxen will be providing music for the opening night of this show

Go With The Flow

Bumpbitty, bump, bump, bump! That was exactly how it felt. While heading downstairs last night Dixie, in her plaid (her own Scottish tartan in fact) stocking feet, kind of missed the first step. The arch of her plaid covered foot slipped right off that very first step. read more
